crustyoldfart: Are you saying that Prohibition was actually a eugenics program under the guise of a Christian revivalist movement to purify society and to banish sin?

Well, it may strike some people as odd to say this, but ultimately the goal of both religion of eugenics programs is to improve society. They approach the issue from different ideological frames of reference, but Prohibition could be a means towards an end which would appeal to adherents of either philosophical perspective.

Is not the argument what is an improved society? Is there an agreeable definition acceptable. I guess it would the ones controlling the military in the end.

If you ask me the last presidential election was a scam. The best way to improve society would be to get rid of Biden and Kamala and just put Trump back into the White House.
