FTC cracks down on weight-loss scams
There are lots of companies selling worthless products and making false promises. It's an easy way for them to make money and so it stands to reason that they'll do it as long as they can get away with it. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

SHOULD WE TAKE PROBIOTICS? | DR. MICHAEL GREGER
Probiotics and prebiotics are useful in certain clinical situations, but beware of diet pill scams which make all sorts of ridiculous claims regarding them. There are lots of testimonials on YouTube for crappy products like Floraspring which try to fool consumers into thinking that probiotics and/or prebiotics are the key to weight loss. Watch this video and you'll see the fallacy exposed.

Losing weight is actually pretty simple and there's only two things you need to do:
1) eat a healthy diet
2) exercise moderately
What you eat and how much you eat are about 80% to 90% of the equation and exercise is the rest. This works for 99.9% of the population. There are a few rare people with conditions which interfere with losing weight, but there aren't many of those people around. There may be lots of over-weight people, but virtually all of them can lose weight just fine if they get serious and take care of business.

Absolutely, but it takes effort to learn what foods to avoid and what foods to eat and then to develop a strategy to gradually improve your diet (and hopefully fitness routine). It's not rocket science, but it does take more than the ability to resist temptation.

Some people say it takes will power and self-control while other people say that will power and self-control have nothing to do with it. I say it depends on how broadly you define those two terms. If by will power and self-control you simply mean the ability to resist temptation when directly confronted by a delicious and available food item, then they are not the key. HOWEVER, if those terms mean the ability to do research, make a plan, stick to the plan, and modify the plan as needed, then they are what is needed. It's all in how the words are defined and that's the problem with a lot of discussions about weight loss: Often it's just a matter of how the terms are defined and the disagreements are only apparent and not actual disagreements.

Why Not To Use Weight Loss Supplements
There's no substitute for hard work and consistency. Quick fix weight loss scams don't work.

Biofit Probiotic Reviews | Does Biofit Probiotic Really Work? Watch Truth in Biofit Reviews !
There are DOZENS of these fake product reviews on YouTube. Many of them follow the exact same script, but are read by different people. All of them use the same strategy. They tell you that Biofit works, but provide very little support for this assertion. INSTEAD they focus on the official website and they all include links to the official website. They pretend to be warning you about a scam and the scam is not a matter of whether or not the product works, but it is that since it works so well, there are imposter products and that it is important to go to the official website. Very shady technique, but many of these videos have a few thousand views and there are even a couple up around 20 thousand views. My guess is that the company is offering financial incentives for people to endorse their product and that embedded in the link to the official site is an identification code which credits the different people making these videos.
