Garlic & Cinnamon Anti-Ebola Meds: Virus hysteria infects the globe
Whereever there's widespread panic, there's opportunity for opportunistic entreprauneurs to make some money. I can see why the people who live in Texas close to the area where there was a fatality and where nurses were infected might be highly concerned, but it's a little premature for the rest of us to be going into panic mode!

USA: 'We can't just cut ourselves off from W. Africa' - Obama
He seems so contrite and sincere, almost as if he's pleading with the American people. It's like he's saying, "Oh, please, please, I only want what's best for everyone! Can't we all just get along!" He doesn't sound like a confident leader who knows what he's doing at all.

I think he is stalling for time in hopes of giving the disease a chance to spread so he can declare martial law. I also think we will be seeing a lot of new diseases from Fukushima that will be blamed on other causes. Some will be directly from the radiation some will be secondary from diseases that spread whenever there is an excess of rotting biological material already laying on the bottom of the ocean because a chain reaction is taking place.

Barack Obama: "Yes We Can"
Whereas the current Obama says, "We can't just cut ourselves off from W. Africa," the old Obama would say:
"Yes We Can"
Whatever happened to his old "can do" spirit and enthusiasm?

Ebola perspectives and local response
Even the Sierra Wave online newspaper has an article about Ebola and they provide a good overview of what's happening.
There have only been 2 suspect cases (in California) with a high enough risk to be tested in the state, and both tests were negative. (Additionally) social media reported a case of Ebola in “Riverside County, California”; however, the truth is that a suspect patient was being tested at the “Riverside Regional Medical Center”, which is actually in Newport News, Virginia. The test results were negative.

BTW, the name of the city in Virginia really is NEWPORT NEWS. An explanation is provided on this page:

Ebola concerns cut cruise short / Preponderance of Caution
Officials in Belize weren't taking any chances. They refused a request issued by the US State Department to allow the passenger who was believed to have possibly been infected to travel through their country. Instead the ship had to carry the person back to the USA where she was unloaded in Galveston, Texas.

Did the Simpsons Predict the Ebola Outbreak? :poop:
Conspiracy theorists and their predictive programming... must be exciting to see a conspiracy behind almost anything and everything. BTW, the video mentioned in this video that had about 47 or 50 thousand views is now up over 220k views.

A recent poll indicates that despite the incredibly painful death caused by ebola, that most sane individuals would much prefer a one-way ticket to Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, or Nigeria (all located in western Africa where over 4500 have died from the disease) than to be forced to listen to a single Katy Perry song.
