Michael Flynn pleads guilty to lying to FBI in special counsel's Russia probe
This is a big NOTHING BURGER! Getting Flynn to plead guilty was a way for the prosecutors to save face. This is going nowhere, but at least now they can say that it wasn't a complete waste of time since they were able to get someone on a trivial charge. Flynn, by the way, doesn't deserve to be scapegoated like this, but the democrats are playing dirty since he spoke the truth when he suggested that Hillary should be sent to prison. As for the rest of this corporate propaganda piece, it's just eight minutes of untruth after untruth. The way the corporate media is celebrating, you'd think there was a serious charge. The way they're salivating, you'd think that this is going to lead to something bigger. But the truth is that this is a dead end and more a manufactured and empty victory (kind of like the trophies they hand out to special snowflake children for participation) than anything worth celebrating.

Are media overstating the importance of Flynn's guilty plea?
This is a more sober assessment of the significance (or total lack of significance) of the guilty plea. The weakness here is that the commentators don't dig deep enough into the political games being played here and how extracting the guilty plea was nothing more than a way to save face for the prosecutors. The truth will eventually come out, but for now the prosecutors seem to have scored some kind of victory or at least the airheads working for the corporate propaganda machine are celebrating as if something significant occurred.

Fake News from ABC Tanks Stock Market!!!
Face-saving plea deals are part of how the legal system works. It's a way to keep a large portion of the population from losing faith in legal institutions. If the whole thing were officially declared a waste of time as a result of a lack of even a trivial conviction, then the democrats would have looked really bad for wasting millions and millions of taxpayer dollar on a total farce. By obtaining this face-saving plea deal, the total farce at least looks less like a total farce. The truth is hidden and faith maintained and at the end of the day, that's what really matters in the good ole USA.

Trump visited by 'ghosts' of scandals past in 'SNL' skit :roll2:
There was a time when SNL was funny. Now it's just stupidly lame propaganda.

Dems make Trump's mental fitness their new talking point
Trump does seem a little unhinged and unstable, but he's probably not senile or otherwise insane in someway. However, his behavior is troubling at times and so I admit that the anti-Trump forces have a valid concern. Whether it generates widespread support is a wait and see kind of proposition.

Trump is Driving Democrats CRAZY! - Literally
CrustyOldFart: There is no doubt that Trump is a little bit out there and that his behavior is a legitimate cause for concern, but the people calling him crazy seem even more crazy to me.

I was kind of surprised to see this but maybe I shouldn't have been. Since SNL seems to be on board with Trump now what does it mean? Has the media and Hollywood given in; or did they finally realize that nothing has changed and it doesn't matter all that much who is in power, as long as those really in power get what they want? Here it is going on two years and no wall has been built, even less illegal immigrants have been deported than under Obama; unemployment remains pretty much the same, taxes are lower for the rich but higher for the working class, benefits for those who refuse or can not work have been cut; mad men across the water from each other have brought us closer to war than ever before. Fake news and the people they serve can relax and make fun of the situation. Has anything really changed that wouldn't have changed had the mad woman been elected instead?

Maybe some of Hollywood have learned to be silent simply out of greed. You must really be blind not to see the economy growing. Trump is responsible for much of that. Be if because of policies about tax, regulations, foreign trade, any number of things have bump started the industry and corporation spending. Oh, let’s not forget job growth. If someone wants to take those away from Trump and give the credit to someone else fine, then give him the credit for not screwing it up. According to some know it all’s we should be a cold dark planet by now this far into the term. Anyway, back to greed, the everyday Joe and Jane are spending their extra monies on a few luxuries right which may include the entertainment industry. Also, a lot of the entertainment industry have other investments that are growing faster than some can remember. Maybe that is what is keeping them in check.

Was the joint missile strike on Syria legal?
The president is now a war criminal. I had hoped that Trump would refrain from military action without justification. That's something I expected out of Hillary Clinton. So, at this point I say IMPEACH HIS WORTHLESS ASS!
