Ditch the spray: Apps to repel mosquitoes
This might be worth a shot. I doubt it would do much in heavy insect areas, but it would probably help a little bit.

Weight and battery life would be the two things I'd want to know about before I'd get even a little excited about this gadget.

Camper's Dream? What is to stop this little gadget from activating while in your backpack or duffle bag and igniting the contents. That would turn this little dream gadget into a nightmare for sure!

This device could be useful, but I wonder how much it costs. Not just the device itself, but the monthly fee for the service.
