2016 Fiat Ducato 4x4 Expedition - Off-Road Camper Van
This might work for getting to some great back country locations and camping in style! Nothing like being in the great outdoors away from the crowds and being able to enjoy all the amenities of home!

Ghe-O Rescue - Der Offroad-Retter
This is pretty amazing. It might be a little wide for desert jeep trails though.

What I'd like to see is a rugged off-road camper that provides the comforts of an RV, but which can handle rough backcountry roads. I know it couldn't be as plush as a luxury RV, but it could still provide all the amenities that would be essential to allow for comfortable camping.

deathvalleyjake: Sounds like you want all the maneuverability of a short wheelbase Jeep and all the amenities of a standard RV. I don't think a compromise between the two is likely to be satisfactory. They're at opposite ends of the spectrum. If you want maneuverability get used to sleeping in a tent. If you want luxury, get used to staying on paved roads or tow a Jeep behind your RV.

The 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4: Pavement is a necessary evil
It has its limitations, but it's not too bad looking of a truck.

Car Tech 101: What you need to know about modifying your car
This advice applies to all cars, but it's especially pertinent to people who modify their off-road vehicles. It may be impossible to stay under warranty and have an off-road worthy car. Only a couple models that I've seen do well without modification.

Peter drives the retro style SUV
This is pretty nice, but way to expensive!
The Icon FJ is an updated take on Toyota's classic four-wheeler. With Toyota's cooperation, California's Icon Customs made a modern aluminum-bodied SUV that looks like it rolled right out of 1965.

2016 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro vs 1995 Jeep Wrangler vs Gold Mine Hill: DiffLock Ep.4
The Toyota could use more clearance and some bigger tires, but it's still pretty impressive.
