Mullein Plant - Corporals Corner
Although this is a good video for the most part there is a little misinformation contained within it. It is important to realize that mullein IS NOT a native of North America. Therefore, any use of the plant by native Americans began after it was introduced to the continent by Europeans settlers.

I browsed around the blackturtle.us website a bit and found this page about mullein:
http://www.ssplants.us/PLANTS/MULLEIN/index.html
It's a little confusing because blackturtle.us seems to be the following websites from what I can tell:
ruskyed.com
ssplants.us
dvplants.com
tronanews.us
any-place-education.com
and then there's the YouTube channel on top of that.

‘We have barely scratched the surface’ of the medicinal value of plants
More research should be done into plant compounds and how they can be used as medicine. This is a fascinating field of study and her book sounds like an interesting read.
The Plant Hunter: A Scientist's Quest for Nature's Next Medicines - A leading medical ethnobotanist tells us the story of her quest to develop new ways to fight illness and disease through the healing powers of plants in this uplifting and adventure-filled memoir.

wabbit: The book you posted info about is called "The Plant Hunter" not to be confused with "Plant Hunters" written by the host of this website:

I highly recommend "Plant Hunters," but I'm sure "The Plant Hunter" book is a good book also.

Could weeds cure all ills? Weeds in modern medicine.
There's more to weeds than meets the eye. Plants should not be taken for granted. They are like little chemical factories and many of the chemicals they produce are very useful.
