Walmart Sues Employees Over Oreos?!
Talk about stingy! Such petty behavior is just one of the reasons people hate WalMart!!! We are pretty much stuck with WalMart because they offer such low prices, but we hate their guts every step of the way!

Legal wrangling adding to Walmart delay
Seems like the one they have now is good enough. Why do they need another one or a bigger one?
Plans to build a Walmart Super Center and surrounding infrastructure have been in the works for years, but have been consistently stalled for one reason or another.

Why Wal-Mart still sells guns :thumb:
This guy does a good job defending Wal-Mart's policy about selling guns. She tries a bunch of times to make Wal-Mart look bad for selling guns and each time he "shoots" back with an extremely reasonable reply. As long as guns are legal, Wal-Mart should sell them for the exact reasons this guy says.

Renewed criticism over wages at Walmart
The final line of this news report sums up the entire story pretty well: "They pay more than everyone else, but are they the ones bringing down the overall average to begin with?" And like the female commentator says, "It's a fascinating debate." For people squeaking by on $9/hr it probably isn't all that fascinating. It's probably more of a dismal reality for them. I like low prices and I hate inflation, but it's important that workers be treated fairly.

Walmart Rakes In Most Successful Black Friday Sales In Store's History
It doesn't sound like the deals in the real stores are any better than the deals online. So if you don't like crowds just take care of business in the comfort of your own home and let postal workers or UPS deliver the goods to you. Then again if you like the excitement of shopping in crowded stores then you missed out on the big event, but there are still 25 or so shopping days left before Christmas Day!

Walmart Thief Uses Huge Balls To Steal Huge Sums :thumb:
The kid got caught on the fourth heist, but he made off with about $40K in the first three. He was only 17 and he was able to fool a couple different Walmart managers which seems to support Cenk's assertion that the dumbest people on the planet work at Walmart. I'm not sure that I'd go that far, but he might have a point.

Walmart in hot water for selling “Fat Girl Costumes”
Needless to say some excessively sensitive individuals were horribly offended and had hissy fits!

CoolChick: The disappointing thing is that they apologized for the Fat Girl stuff. They should have just said, "Congratulations! You can read! Deal with it!" That would at least be better than apologizing as if it was a big deal. People have these illusions of entitlement because even the smallest little trivial offences get treated like they're a big deal!

Some Companies Starting 'Black Friday' the Day After Halloween :smack:
Christmas gets old after about four weeks. I think this move will backfire. People will be wanting to put away the Christmas stuff after Thanksgiving instead of getting ready to gear up for Christmas. I mean, seriously, you can only take so much Christmas before you get sick of it!
