tronagirl: Waffles with lots of strawberries and lots of whimped cream is my favorite breakfast. I'll take some sausage on the side and maybe a little OJ too. That's what I call a great breakfast!

ShotgunMary: Whimped cream? I'll assume that was a typo, but if not then I want to know what that is? LOL

CrustyOldFart: Just a typo. My mistake. While I'm at it I'll mention my second favorite breakfast which is breakfast steak, asparagus, mushrooms, avocado, whole grain toast, and eggs. Hopefully I didn't make any more typing mistakes or spelling errors. I wasn't never no good at neither!

Steak and huevos rancheros! Steak, tortillas, refries, avocado, salsa, bell peppers, and eggs. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! Where's the best place in Ridgecrest for a breakfast like that anyways? I know a couple places in Bakersfield, but I haven't been out that way in awhile.

I've had me a hankering for some French toast lately. I may need to actually get out the frying pan and do something in the kitchen for a change. I like to use jam as the topping, but maybe I'll be traditional and have some maple syrup. I'll think about that one on the way to the store!

Picky I am not. I'll take donuts, pop tarts, just about any breakfast cereal that isn't supposed to be good for you, and my favorite: breakfast shakes made with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Okay, so I do put in a little protein powder and maybe sometimes a frozen banana or other frozen fruit. But that's basically a list of all my go to items except maybe toast and nutella or jam. Oh, yes, and cold pizza hits the spot nicely also.

WHAT I EAT FOR BREAKFAST: Dr. Esselstyn & Other Plant-Based Docs
Lots of interesting ideas from a bunch of people who ought to know a lot about nutrition. Oats and smoothies are the two most popular items with berries and seeds being mentioned by most.
