Mostly I post this video here for the short clip of the teacher complaining about the bandaids. How could anyone be such a mindless twit? When you start worrying about the color of bandaids and whether they match someone's skin color you have truly run out of legitimate things to complain about and you are working way too hard to find evidence of imaginary racism. The thought that there are actually teachers so mindlessly stupid causes me real concern for the students they influence!
Worrying over the color of a bandaid is about as dumb as it gets. Only someone with a mental disorder would give it a second thought! However, as long as we're on the topic we should acknowledge that bandaids are darker in color than the skin of a significant portion of the population. The teacher in the video doesn't seem to be aware of that and it's not likely that she would feel the same sense of urgency over the feelings of children with skin lighter than the color of the bandaids. Being overly emotional about something as trivial as whether or not a bandaid matches a child's skin color is definitely a problem, but looking at her emotional reaction in a logical manner helps people to realize that not all emotional reactions are legitimate and probably most aren't!
