Erecting a Metal Carport Timelapse
It doesn't look that strong. It could blow away in a stiff wind. But not bad for two minutes!

DIY Large PVC Fire Wood Cover
This is an interesting way to build a structure. It seems a little flimsy though.

desertrat: Yes that does look a bit flimsy, but I bet it's a lot less expensive that way.

WHAT is this, and WHY do you want it under your floors?
This is more of an inside than an outside project, but lots of people have concrete slab issues and as the guy says at the beginning of the video, there are two types of concrete slabs: Those that are cracked and those that will become cracked in the future.

blackturtle: A friend of mine is in the real estate business. She said that 90% of the houses in Trona and 75% of the houses in Ridgecrest have serious cracks in the slab. Nationwide it's something around 40%, but it tends to be worse in the desert because the desert soil is less stable than that in most areas. I think the Bible said something about the fool who built his house on sand. It's a parable or something as I recall.

How to Build a 4v Geodesic Dome
Actual time to construct the dome is about six hours. The parts are color-coded and easy to assemble and the directions are reasonably clear.
