Wildfires consume West Coast, costing lives and millions in property damage
This is the most complete report on wildfires in the west this summer that I've seen. What I don't understand is why didn't CNN or ABC produce a report like this? Why do I have to get accurate news about what's happening here from Russia Today?

Lawmakers want to make it illegal for drones to meddle with firefighting efforts
This is also from Russia Today and the quality of the report is far better than anything I've seen from CNN, ABC, NBC, FOX, etc. for a long time.

Some say it's propaganda, but there's no propaganda in these reports. It's all just factual reporting... something we don't see a lot of anymore especially from CNN, ABC, NBC, FOX, etc.! These two reports posted by tronagirl and recluse are actually a whole lot more interesting than reports I've seen from the news media here in the USA. They don't feature airheads being asked how they feel about something for fake experts filling us with bullshit misinformation. It's like real journalism or something! What a concept!

We had a TWENTY day run with temperatures at 100F or higher during August. This was, inclusively speaking, from August 11 to August 30. All in all, only four out of 31 days during August failed to hit 100F or higher.

We made it into October so officially summer is oven ever if there might still be a hot day here and there. Congratulations to us! Hopefully we can now enjoy some moderate weather for a few weeks before it starts getting cold!
