Charles Manson's CIA Connections :wtf:
Joe Rogan says that he is "balls deep" into this new book about Manson. He says it will blow your mind!

Joe Rogan has such a wonderful way with words.
But seriously, I enjoy listening to his interviews and this short excerpt from one was interesting. I might even purchase the book!

Rogan seems to really like that phrase. I've heard him utter it on many occasions. Wasn't there an old SNL skit about dipping that part of the body into something?

Combining a story about one of the most notorious murderers of the recent past with a conspiracy theory involving the CIA is a great recipe for a best-selling book. Getting to promote the book on the Joe Rogan Show almost certainly guarantees success. I probably won't bother reading the book, but I am definitely a little bit curious!

deathvalleyjake: I'm a little bit curious too, but it's an old story and you get the general idea from the Joe Rogan interview. I'll do another trip to Goler Wash to see the cabin long before I'll buy the book!

Charles Manson must be laughing from the grave. This could shape up into an all out race war although most likely it won't. But things could get interesting for awhile maybe. Those ANTIFA pricks are using some of Manson's tricks to whip things up. No doubt.

ANTIFA might be using some of Manson's tricks, but they remind me more of ISIS than anything else. They are toppling historical monuments. They are making outrageous demands. They are plotting violence and using intimidation tactics to get their way. Manson mostly stayed under the RADAR. ISIS was much more blatant and out in the open about things. Okay, maybe ANTIFA reminds me a bit of the Taliban too, but basically they are a terrorist organization anyway you look at it. Manson was more of a crazy cult leader than the leader of a terrorist organization.

This stuff now reminds me of the Arab Spring stuff in 2018.

This whole CHAZ situation reminds me of the Jonestown Kool-aid Suicide Cult from 1978. The cult leader was a guy named Jim Jones and he adopted children of different races and called his family the "Rainbow Family" and eventually he referred to his entire cult that way. Jonestown was supposed to be a "socialist paradise" and Jones rejected the Bible as a tool to oppress women and non-whites. He also said and I quote: "If you're born in capitalist America, racist America, fascist America, then you're born in sin. But if you're born in socialism, you're not born in sin." The parallels are amazing and there's more if you want to dig into it.

Charles Manson - HIS Final words , Manson believed to be the greatest man alive
Maybe not the most famous person at any time, but he remained relevant for decades and might still be.
