Online Eraser Button To Allow CA Teens To Delete Posts
Most online forums allow users to erase their own posts, but that doesn't do anything to eliminate any reposts of that material that other people might make. It's good that online forums are legally required to allow users to delete their own posts, but most would do this anyway. So, it would seem that this law in totally unnecessary and useless!

Criminals Handing Police Evidence Via Social Media Accounts
A lot of people tweet a lot of stupid stuff. Criminals who tweet anything providing clues to the cops make the job of the cops way too easy. Why would the cops want to shut down something like that?

Was Justine Sacco's Trial By Twitter Cyberbullying? :roll2:
The tweet wasn't really all that offensive, but people like to over-dramatize things. Just goes to show that people enjoy drama even when they have to make a big deal over nothing. The statement wasn't really all that outrageous or offensive, but that's how her employer characterized it, apparently in an attempt to placate the whiners.

Facebook can track your un-posted thoughts :conf2:
This is interesting. Facebook might actually have messages which were never even posted. What would happen if after deciding not to send a message like this that Facebook somehow wound up sending the message anyway as the result of some software glitch? I've had second thoughts about sending a message a few times. This is not good!

Expert: Selfies Causing Teen Head Lice Outbreak :pac:
Not exactly the kind of social media blunder that you might expect. Usually it's trolls, online bullying, spyware, or some other problem that's more directly related to technology, but this one actually causes a physical/medical problem.

Alleged Burglar Forgets to Log Off Facebook :smack:
This guy deserves some kind of special recognition for being the world's dumbest crook! I must admit, however, that I prefer my criminals dumb!

‘Creepy & Scary’: US military harnesses social media to manipulate online behaviour
I heard that our government used social media to help start the revolutions in Egypt and Libya, but I didn't realize that they manipulate the opinions of people inside the USA using social media too. It seems like it would take a lot of people to be able to spread the message since the bots they use can only do so much. It also seems like an improper use of taxpayer funds to support this kind of activity.

YouTube Star Goes After Ex-Boyfriend For Revenge Porn :roll2:
Best comments:
1) Soo.... Who else is looking for the vid?

2) Who else doesn't give a shit about this?

3) She planned this. It's all a fame scam. TYT is in on it.

And best of all...
I'm glad the boyfriend had the balls to post the videos. These SLUTS need to be shamed back into the kitchen. This "women are equal" nonsense is just nonsense. Women have a place in the natural order of things, and it isn't on an "equal" level to men. This is why women, especially middle aged women, are so unhappy. Instead of choosing marriage and monogamy, they chose to whore around because they thought it made them "equal". When they turn 35 and men aren't paying attention to them anymore, they become bitter old bags with 9 cats.
