'Snowden should have been Time's Person of 2013' - former CIA officer
The NSA scam was the biggest story of the year and that was all made possible by Edward Snowden. The three branches of government have conspired to undermine the Constitution and Snowden's leak made that obvious and undeniable. Hopefully this gets the ball rolling and real reform takes place to restore the Constitution!

California bill to make life hard for the NSA :thumb:
Legislation proposed in California to ban state agencies from aiding and abetting the enemy (aka, the NSA).

a2z: Sounds like a great proposal, but there's a big difference between legislation being proposed and it actually becoming a law! I'd say it's chances are somewhere between slim and none, but it's a great idea. And even if the law did pass, I'm sure that the federal government would either get a court to strike down the law or else they'd figure out some way to undermine it.

a2z and pcslim: This will be interesting to follow. It's funny how RT does a better job reporting on issues like this than does our domestic news media. Could it be that our domestic news media is controlled by big corporations who all have an interest in allowing the government to spy on us citizens? Afterall, the government is controlled by the corporations and so it's as if the government is spying on us for them!

W.H. to consider surveillance reforms
GOOD NEWS: The president is considering pushing reforms to limit surveillance of citizens by security agencies.
BAD NEWS: A bogus report asserts that Snowden's leaks put the lives of troops in danger and weakened national security.
REALITY CHECK: We all know that the government is trying to cover its ass through the use of anti-Snowden propaganda. They should realize that they are only digging their hole deeper with this bullshit!!!

Pentagon uses secret report to attack Snowden :mad3:
More on the weak attempts by national security leaders to discredit Snowden. Most people are intelligent enough to realize that this is a load of crap and that what Snowden did was absolutely essential to the preservation of freedom in this country. We were heading down the road to a surveillance/police state and hopefully Snowden's revelations will turn things around!

I like the REALITY CHECK! Sometimes it seems that our leaders believe that we're too stupid to do some fact-checking and figure out when they're lying or misrepresenting the truth. It's important to do a REALITY CHECK every now and then in order to catch people trying to pull a fast one!!! People can be slime balls, but a good reality check is usually all it takes to separate the slime from the people you can trust.

Executive Panel Finds NSA Metadata Collection Illegal
The executive panel simply told us what we already know. There really should be no debate here, but those in positions of power don't place much value on protecting our Constitutional rights. They have other interests which they consider more important that protecting our basic freedoms! Which is exactly why they should all be replaced with leaders who don't lack integrity!

How The NSA Used Angry Birds For Spying
Thank Edward Snowden for this revelation. The NSA is using popular apps as Trojan Horses to sneak in their spyware. This type of thing should be totally illegal! Beware of Squeaky Dolphin if you use Facebook or YouTube. This is some major bullshit!!!

How To Screw The NSA
Maybe there is hope for this country after all! It's nice to see states stand up to the federal government. Political tactics are nice, but I've heard there might be other tactics being used too...
