Is Aspirin Really That Good For You?
Like panamint_patty says, there are always side-effects. Aspirin actually does some things that could prolong life, but there are some other things that it does that aren't so great. Pretty much any simple molecule drug that does something good is also going to do something bad.

Is Google’s Calico Really Trying to Conquer Death?
Google isn't actually trying to conquer death, but they are trying to extend life and increase quality of life by finding ways to treat diseases which afflict the elderly. Also this discussion includes interesting information about what is called the homeostatic capacity. Best quote: "Big pharma makes money by keeping us sick!"

Study involving UC San Diego looks to find key to long life
Rosemary is the key to a longer life? The study is in the early stages, but there is something going on in Italy that makes people in a small town live longer lives. It could be genetics. It could be diet, but nobody knows for sure yet.

Could deep-learning systems radically transform drug discovery?
Scientific double-talk to make a scam look legit? It's hard to say for sure. You can consider the source. Insilico Medicine is located at Johns Hopkins University Eastern Campus and so that part is legit, but that doesn't mean that Life Extension or KurzweilAI aren't just name-dropping to make their schemes seem legit. Do your own research and reach your own conclusions!
Insilico Medicine signed an exclusive agreement with Life Extension, a major nutraceutical product vendor, to collaboratively develop a set of geroprotectors — natural products that mimic the healthy young state in multiple old tissues. The goal is to increase the rejuvenation rate of the body and slow down, or even reverse, the aging process.

“My grandparents lived on a farm and ate whole milk, cream, eggs, butter, meat, potatoes and homemade bread. My grandfather often ate 6 eggs a day for years, many of them raw, along with lard sandwiches. He lived to 98 while my grandmother lived to 101. What astounded me most was their farmhand who went by the name of Indian Joe. When I first saw him he looked in his 40s and was incredibly cut and muscular. He looked like Conan. I was shocked when I found out he was well into his 70s. Indian Joe lived to 115 years of age and ate nothing but meat, glands and intestines!”

It looks like Life Extension is legitimate. This is from the Insilico Medicine website:

Artificial intelligence to spearhead enhanced human longevity
06.07.2016
Life Extension, a Florida-based organization established in the early 1980s is dedicated to extending healthy human longevity. Life Extension and Insilico Medicine have announced an exclusive collaborative effort to identify novel biomarkers of human aging through the use of big data analytics and artificial intelligence, with the additional goal of nutrient formulation discovery to support health and longevity. Insilico Medicine will focus on applying advanced signaling pathway activation analysis techniques and deep learning algorithms to find nutraceuticals that mimic the tissue-specific transcriptional response of many known interventions and pathways associated with health and longevity. They will also search for dietary ingredients referred to as “geroprotectors” that mimic the young healthy signaling state in older human tissues. Life Extension will use this information to develop novel nutraceutical products to support health and longevity.

Of course it's a legitimate company. Live Extension is a real company and a popular brand name in the supplement industry. I used to buy from them several years back till they became over priced. But it's just a brand name for supplements... Kind of like Trump University was for real estate seminars.

surfsteve: Sure, but there are quite a few companies that sell cheap supplements that aren't exactly high quality products. That's especially true when we're talking protein supplements. They claim one thing, but the reality is something entirely different. Cheap knockoffs presented as if they're the latest and greatest is something we need to watch out for when it comes to supplements and various health-related products. So if this Life Extension company works with legitimate research institutions, then it might be worth paying more for their products.
