Will Unlocking Smartphones Become Legal Again?
The government should be banned from placing unnecessary restrictions on the behavior of citizens. It's good to see that one such restriction is being examined. Hopefully something good will come of this!

Straight Talk now has Android phones starting at 79 dollars. I bought one about a month ago. They work with the 45 dollar 30 day unlimited service plan and are quite a deal. My phone has voice recognition and allows me to dictate texts and web addresses instead of typing them, a feature that I don't even have on my computer. These phones are truly amazing and more like a computer than a phone.

No more off switch during take-off?
Frequent fliers are probably elated, but for the rest of us this is not that big of a deal!

What you didn't know you can do with your smartphone :pac:
Home automation? I can do without it, unless it's cheap. I really don't need to waste money on the latest gadget, but when the price gets low enough I suppose I'll bite. Besides I mostly just play games, listen to music, send messages, and talk on my phone and that's really about all I need it for. CNN takes a look at the future of interactive technology :pac:
This video is more about WEARABLE technology than it is about INTERACTIVE technology. Afterall, most technology is interactive in some way. What makes the technology discussed here interesting is that it is integrated into your clothing and provides interesting feedback not currently available to consumers.

Smartphones Outsell Feature Phones for the First Time
Not surprising at all. They're practically pocket computers! If anything they're too small, but extremely convenient!

CNET How To - Use your Galaxy S4 as a universal remote
This is so cool that I'm actually thinking about getting a Galaxy S4. It looks like you can use the app with a simple interface or a complicated one. I think I'll start simple... that's if I actually decide to buy one!

'Kill switch' sought as answer to phone theft epidemic
I guess the up side of this is that it would make stealing a smart phone pointless. HOWEVER, the downside is that hackers would be able to turn off your phone service. Of course, there are probably ways that hackers could do this now without this feature and so why not give them another way to do the same thing. Redundancy is a good thing, right?
