Some of these are good commonsense ideas and others (like the cardboard cutout) probably aren't likely to be effective.

I don't know if this is an effective home security device, but it's so cute I want one regardless!

twister & panamint_patty: The irony is that those cute little birds could be used to spy on you and your family. Whether it's company employees, government spooks, or nefarious hackers, you never know who's watching!
