Political Compass

I took the test and here are my numbers:
Economic Right/Left: +0.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.87
That's about what I'd have expected although I gotta say that a few of the questions were pretty ambiguous and I could have gone either way depending on their interpretation.

I lean ever so slightly to the right and towards the libertarian sides, but basically I'd say I'm pretty much middle of the road. I definitely agree with shadylady about some of the questions being very much open to interpretation.

wildrose: It sounds like you and I are very similar politically. I was slighty conservative and a little more than slightly libertarian. The government should stay out of our lives, but it should perform the basic services we need to keep society running smoothly.

I was exactly on the line between right and left, but way down deep into libertarian territory. I've never liked being told what to do, but I do a good job staying out of trouble. I'm one of those guys who'd rather walk before they make me run. As you might guess from that last line, I'm also a Rolling Stones fan!

If this were a game of darts I would have won! I came out almost smack dab in the middle. I'm the living definition of moderate!

Well I came out close to the libertarian slash conservative corner of the compass. With extreme freedom comes great responsibility and I think those are two fundamental concepts that are the foundation of our once great country! We can still find out way back to greatness, but we've been slacking for a few decades now.
