What the Bleep is based upon scientific information and is not a suitable topic for Recreation and Entertainment.

Kindly watch this video of Buckethead on PBS featuring Crusty THE Clown instead

Scientology does not teach the law of attraction but rather uses the law of attraction and especially NLP in a sinister way to manipulate and extract cash from it's members. Just to be fair. So do most other religions. Looks like an interesting video. Will have to try and watch it.

Emotional state is related to health, BUT a lot of people who push this concept are full of shit. Being constantly agitated and stressed out may increase the level of cortisol in the body and over a period of time this might cause certain problems to develop. There are several other legitimate examples of this sort of thing. However, a lot of people go the extra mile and take things to their illogical extreme and we wind up with self-help groups designed to detox the brain or airheads chanting affirmations with the belief that it will "heal" their bodies. Ten percent of the assertions that emotional state affects health are truth, but the other 90% is utter and complete bullshit with advocates leading emotional circle jerks promising participants that emotional catharsis will clease their bodies of toxins built up from years and years of toxic thoughts. It's probably the case that people who participate in this sort of thing are hopeless anyways and too stupid to know the difference between BS and legitimate science and so at least it keeps them out of trouble.

According to Louise Hay sayings like someone's being a pain in the neck have a basis in reality and many people really do get a pain in the neck when someone is bothering them. New German Medicine claims that cancer is the body's defense mechanism to stress and one of the links I posted claimed even dinosaurs had cancerous tumors and that cancer is nothing new. They claim to have proof that their methods work many times better than conventional cancer therapy. I have seen nothing to prove or disprove it. But. The more I learn in life, the more I come to understand how much I have underestimated the power of belief... both good and bad ones.
