SIXTEEN PERSONALITIES :pac:
Sometimes personality theories and tests aren't any more useful or scientific than horoscopes, but they are entertaining!
THIS SYSTEM INCLUDES FOUR GROUPS AND EACH HAS FOUR SUB-TYPES:
ANALYSTS (architect, logician, commander, debater)
DIPLOMATS (advocate, mediator, protagonist, campaigner)
SENTINELS (logistician, defender, executive, consul)
EXPLORERS (virtuoso, adventurer, entrepreneur, entertainer)
WHICH ONE ARE YOU? TAKE THE TEST!

The Big 5 Personality Traits
Laci Green can be pretty annoying most of the time, but she mostly keeps that aspect of her personality under the radar in this video.

How To Get Your Point Across To These Five Personality Types
The framework outlined in this article "offers a handy set of metaphors for adjusting your speaking style to fit listeners’ thinking styles and personalities." And that's basically what personality types are. They are metaphors and not precise, well-defined realities. The five personality types outlined here include PROBLEM SOLVERS, DATA GEEKS, TEAM PLAYERS, CREATIVE TYPES, and OPTIMISTS. Not exactly a comprehensive list since it leaves out DRAMA QUEENS, THRILL SEEKERS, PROBLEM CAUSERS, PESSIMISTS, ONE-UPPERS, and just about any other label you can think of.

Scientists Have Found Genetic Links Between Personality Traits And Psychiatric Diseases
Personality in theory develops are a result of experience, especially early childhood experiences, but genetic factors also predispose individuals in certain ways. What's more important genetics or experience?
Scientists have identified genetic links between a set of psychological factors known as 'the big five' personality traits - extraversion, neuroticism, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience - and say they could also influence risk factors for certain psychiatric disorders.

They even have a few specific genes that they're looking at.
The researchers found links between certain genes and certain traits. For instance, the genes WSCD2 and PCDH15 are connected to extraversion, while the gene L3MBTL2 and the chromosome 8p23.1 are tied to neuroticism.

Why Are You Single?
Being in a bad relationship stresses you out and being in a good relationship energizes you. But the same can be said for being comfortably single versus being single and lonely.
