Pros & Cons: Manual & Motorized Treadmills, and Running Outside
When the weather is too hot or too cold, running inside is an option worth considering. But there are a lot of treadmills and they can be kind of expensive. How do you select a good treadmill for a good price?

Runners World Review TrueForm Runner, Incl Track and Turf
These curved treadmills are motorless, but they seem awfully expensive.

The Use of Non motorized Treadmills to Facilitate Gait and The Posterior Chain
These curved non-motorized, curved treadmills look like they could be pretty useful. They seem to activate muscle groups more efficiently than is the case with motorized treadmills.

A Non-Motorized Treadmill
I'm convinced that a curved, non-motorized treadmill is preferable to a traditional, motorized treadmill.

The Definitive Guide To Curved Treadmills
This is a pretty good article on treadmills. However this is explanation is a crock of shit!
They are expensive and a real step up from regular treadmills. A good motorized treadmill will set you back around $1,500 and higher. Curved treadmills start at around $4,000 and most are $5,000+. It's because they're different from normal treadmills that make them so expensive. New technology takes investment and this is reflected in the price.

They don't have motors. They're simpler! Therefore, they should be less expensive!
